Saturday afternoon, at Jen's request, I made this cool little bridge for the new kittens to play on since the last small scratching post we had is now gone. This bridge is covered in a very low cut no loop carpet, (meaning no little claws will get stuck!) and the base is actually got padding under the carpet. Within an hour of it being in the house, all four of the yearlings had tested and approved it. Pictured below is Emi giving it a once-over.

We took another look last night and found out the the beige kittens are one girl and one boy. The gray one is a boy and the all black one is also a boy. Since the odds are that torties and calicos are almost always girls, the black one with spots looks to be a muted tortie and most likely a girl.

Late Monday night we got some close ups of each kitten.

New members to the Hulick household arrived very early Sunday morning, like around 12:45AM!!! Thelma started birthing kittens then and finished up around 4:30AM. She ended up with five adorable kittens. In order were a buff, a black, (a gray that at first we thought was black), another black but with muted spots and finally another buff. Here are some photos of that first couple hours.
